Taste the Soul of New Mexico
Born from the soil of our Corrales farm and the passion of Chef Jon Young, our sauces are the soul of New Mexico in a bottle.

Meet the Chef
The story of Sandia Mountain Sauce Company is the story of Chef Jon Young, a fourth-generation New Mexican dedicated to preserving the authentic culinary soul of his home. His journey blends rustic heritage, learned from village elders in Corrales, with sophisticated classical training under acclaimed chefs.
This unique expertise, combined with a passion for the land, is the secret to our sauce. Every bottle begins with ingredients cultivated at At Last Farm, our 1.5-acre oasis. This commitment to authenticity has earned Chef Young the prestigious title of official Chef Ambassador for the New Mexico Department of Agriculture, allowing him to share a taste of New Mexico that is generations in the making.

Ways to Enjoy
From our farm-to-table food truck to your family grill, our sauces are crafted to elevate any meal. Discover a few of our favorite ways to bring the flavor of New Mexico home.

Chef Young’s Red Chile Pulled Pork
Slow-smoked pulled pork is a timeless classic, but here in the Land of Enchantment, we believe every tradition can be elevated. Imagine pork shoulder, patiently smoked for hours until it’s unbelievably tender, then bathed in the deep, complex flavors of our Sandia Mountain Red Chile BBQ Sauce.
It’s not just a topping; it’s the heart of the dish. The sauce, with its smoky notes from toasted red chile pods and a subtle sweetness from ingredients grown on our Corrales farm, seeps into every fiber of the meat. The result is a culinary experience that’s both familiar and uniquely New Mexican—a rich, savory, and layered masterpiece that tells a story of heritage and craft in every single bite. This is what happens when you let our sauce do the talking.

The Perfect Pulled Pork Sandwich
This is where the magic happens. All the time, care, and flavor culminates in this one perfect bite. We pile our Red Chile Pulled Pork high on a toasted brioche bun, letting the rich, savory juices soak in. The sweetness of the bun is the perfect counterpoint to the deep, smoky heat of the red chile.
But it’s more than just a sandwich. It’s the taste of a New Mexico sunset, the warmth of a story shared around a table, and the culmination of a journey from our Corrales farm to your plate. It’s simple, it’s honest, and it’s a testament to the idea that the best food is made with passion. This is the experience we bottle.

Welcome to the heart of our kitchen. Each bottle is a culmination of Chef Jon Young’s 30+ years of classical training, his deep New Mexican heritage, and the freshest ingredients harvested directly from our own At Last Farm in Corrales. This is more than just barbecue sauce; it’s the soul of New Mexico, bottled.

Red Chile BBQ Sauce
A tribute to the timeless, earthy flavors of the Rio Grande Valley. Sun-dried Hatch chile pods are toasted to awaken deep, smoky notes, then blended with fresh garlic and herbs from our farm for a rich, complex sauce with a subtle, smoky heat.

Green Chile BBQ Sauce
A celebration of New Mexico’s most iconic flavor. We capture the vibrant, pungent aroma of the annual flame-roasted green chile harvest. Blended with sweet onions and garlic from our farm, it’s a tangy, savory taste of late summer.

Christmas BBQ Sauce
Can’t decide between Red or Green? “Christmas” is the local’s choice. This perfect marriage of our smoky Red Chile and bright Green Chile sauces is uniquely New Mexican—the delicious answer to the official state question.

Don’t just take our word for it. See what our friends and neighbors are saying about their taste of New Mexico.
New Mexico friends try this incredible BBQ sauce! Its a little tangy sweet with a small kick (not hot) of chile. You can taste the chile zip but you don’t have to worry about it being too spicy.”Savory sweet with a touch of heat” as it says on the bottle. You can get it in red, green or christmas (I have all three thanks to my brother and sister in law).
It’s soooo good on meat and even on fruit. Don’t know how I’m going to keep up my supply long distance but I will figure it out. It’s that good.
